Itzel Montemayor
Immigration lawyer · Founder
I help Dallas families with green cards, citizenship and immigration court, in the language they dream in.
I grew up in Oak Cliff, translating letters from immigration at the kitchen table for my parents and half the neighbors. I didn't always understand them. Now I write the answers.
Before opening this office on Jefferson Boulevard, I worked at a nonprofit legal clinic, where I learned to hear the whole story before reaching for a form. Most of my clients find me through a cousin, a coworker or their church. Whether or not you hire me, I want you to leave our first meeting knowing more than when you came in.

How I work
Three things you can count on
Your language, your pace
Every meeting in English or Spanish. Araceli, who answers the phone, speaks both too.
The fee before the work
You get the fee for your case in writing, with what it covers and what the government charges.
A call back, not a voicemail maze
Araceli or I return calls within one business day, and detention calls at any hour.
Come meet me on Jefferson
At the office, or by video from wherever you are.
